GWGC Memberships
The Groves Women’s Golf Club (GWGC) has been in existence at The Groves Golf & Country Club for two decades. It has an avid membership that includes various levels of play. Membership in the club is available to any adult female resident holding a GHIN number, regardless of age. Non-residents must be 45 years or older, holding a GHIN number. GWGC plays every Tuesday, and the first and third Saturdays of each month. Members pay a $5 fee for each game which is used for prizes and “Closest to the Pin”. There is an optional “Chip-in” contest also. Games begin at 7:45 AM. The club typically sponsors three tournaments in the spring and fall, and three joint tournaments with the men’s league (GMGA) each year.
Greens fees must be paid in the Pro shop if you do not have Groves membership.
The annual GWGC membership fee is $60 which includes the Hole-in-One insurance (renewed every January 1.) The $25 GHIN fee must be paid directly to the Pro shop prior to the first league game of the new year.
