World Handicap System
Starting January 1st 2020, the current World Handicap System (WHS) will be combined with the Golf Handicap and Information Network (GHIN) to just use one format for every golfer in the world. There will be some key changes being made to how handicaps are formulated and they will affect your current handicap so don’t be perplexed if it changes after the first of the year. The Groves Golf and Country Club has recently taken the qualification course and is now certified to use the WHS System.
