Course Temporarily Closed

April 11, 2019 by

Date: June 4, 2018 - August 31, 2018
Time: All-day

Course Closure Extended (August 14, 2018)

Due to the excessive rain and other circumstances that have delayed our progress, it has been decided the course is not yet playable, and we will not be open for play on August 15th. Our goal is to be ready to open by September 1st.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Greens Installation Update (June 29, 2018)

Unfortunately, the delays in getting the greens installed and other needed maintenance on the course is forcing us to remain closed through the month of July. We will still, however, be holding our Junior Golf Camp later in July and August. Please check back regularly for more updates.

Greens Installation Update (June 20, 2018)

The putting green is installed and work on the 9th hole has begun! Improvements to other parts of the course continue, and the goal is to have three greens done per day. Click on the thumbnails to enlarge the images. Please check back regularly for more updates.

Greens Installation Update (June 12, 2018)

Phase 2 on replacing the greens has begun. We are now tilling, contouring, and packing. Please check back here for regular updates on our progress.

Greens Installation Update (June 6, 2018)

And so it begins… Work on our new greens got underway on June 4th, starting with the putting green. Everyone is excited, and we are still hopeful to have the course open by July 1st. Please check back here for regular updates on our progress.

The work for this replacement will begin with all the greens being tilled up during the first week of the project. Greens will then be contoured and rolled before the actual grass (Diamond Zoysia) is installed. After the grass is placed, the greens must be rolled and top dressed over a period of time until the seams of the grass are tightened into a smooth surface. Depending on weather during this period the greens could be ready by the end of the third week on June or the latest on 1 July 2018.

The processes of rolling and top dressing of the greens will be continued by ABM after the contractor is finished until such time as we are satisfied with their overall condition. Additional updates will follow as the work progresses.
